It looked like we will get a bit of rain today. It's no drama ... only lasts for half an hour or so. After the usual e-mail and admin we went into town - CBD to buy some presents for friends and sponsors. Lunch at SOZO, but it is not the same. Meals at SOZO used to be excellent, but it is not what it used to be. My baguette was all soggy - not crunchy as usual. Just got home .. to our little hotel in the nick of time.
Rainy afternoon, but I promised HOAN to continue the computer clean up. So I walked to the orphanage. When I walked in she was just downloading this blog to see all the pictures. We used the slide show and had lots of fun. There were children all around us seeing their pictures on a big screen.
And then the rain started, really heavy ... we had work to do on the computer, installed SPYBOT and ran a scan that removed a number of threads from HOAN's computer.
By the way ... if you read this and you are thinking of upgrading your lap top ... I know someone who could do with a later model !!!
When the rain eased I told HOAN that I will catch a cab home. HOAN immediately offered me a lift. I new she had a motor bike, so I agreed.
She put her jumper on and off she went. I was unsure whether to follow her or not. To give you more details, HOAN was not wearing her prostheses. We went downstairs, she climbed on the HONDA , got the wet weather gear out and off we went. Imagine peak hour traffic in the rain ... the worst conditions imaginable. I tell you what, she rode the HONDA like a pro !!! Pity it was only a short ride !!! I was as proud as punch !!!
That was the highlight of the this trip so far !!!
