Another story ... banking ... we got some funds out late last night for the Hope School and tried to get more money out this morning. First withdraw worked, then .... Nothing ... so we called the bank HSBC ... contact your bank was their reply. Tried all ATM’s around the place ...
Tried the Commonwealth bank in town .... they only take MASTER Card. Now we have to use our private account and have to transfer funds later.
As WIFI did not work in the hotel today, we went to a coffee shop after the banking disaster. Everywhere you go here they provide free wireless internet. Why can't coffee shops provide the same service in AUS ???
Had lunch in the city. In the CBD it is just as expensive as at home !!! In the afternoon we went to the Peace Orphanage again. As soon as the kids saw us they came running. They expected some lollies, but we had stickers today. Little DIEP came out of hiding and stopped right in front of Matt and put her hands up. She is pretty heavy but not too much for Matt. She was as proud as punch .... she did not move except when Uli came around with the stickers. Everyone wanted them ... little butterflies ... on their fingernails ...
Back home we prepared the pencil cases we bought in AUS for the children of Hope School for the hearing impaired children.
While I’m typing this, the lap top CD played KHE SANH by COLD CHISEL.
