Settling in, going shopping ... bought a kettle to be able to have a cup of tea - kettle cost just $ 2.5, got some food and fruit as well. Got everything in the local super market. Sorry Dick - no “DICK SMITH FOODS on the shelves!!!
This afternoon we went to the PEACE ORPHANAGE to visit the children. We did not get very far. One of the nurses asked whether we had permission. We tried to explain ... but her English was not as good. She sent us downstairs to talk to the manager. Well we do understand that they have to be vigilant, so we took a step back. Then we were told it could take three weeks to receive permission by the GM of the woman's hospital. Anyway, we left and thought about other ways to reach our goal. We are currently working on it .... Who would have thought .... but .... nothing is ever easy !!!
After a nice dinner with Bob and HIEN went back to the hotel and watched TV. The cricket was on ... but I fell 'm asleep ...
